Mindstate is an Ethereum-based protocol and open-source stack for publishing, versioning, and monetizing encrypted digital artifacts - especially persistent AI state such as agent identity, memory, checkpoints, and related payloads. The protocol separates a public on-chain “spine” (hashes, ordering, redemption records, and storage pointers) from off-chain ciphertext stored on systems such as IPFS or Arweave. Publishers append immutable, hash-linked checkpoints; consumers obtain decryption keys after on-chain redemption. The project token on Base represents the Mindstate ecosystem and is traded on decentralized markets; the broader protocol also supports independent publisher streams via a launchpad and the draft ERC-3251 standard for encrypted state tokens.
