The annual inflation rate in Bosnia and Herzegovina edged up to 4.3% in October 2025 from 4.2% in September. The main upward pressure came from higher prices for housing and utilities (5.2% vs 2.3% in September) and furnishings and household equipment (1.8% vs 1.3%). Meanwhile, price growth eased across several categories, including food and non-alcoholic beverages (6.9% vs 7.8%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.8% vs 3.9%), health (5.5% vs 5.9%), recreation and culture (4.7% vs 4.8%), education (3.3% vs 3.6%), restaurants and hotels (7.8% vs 8.0%), and other goods and services (2.5% vs 3.0%). In addition, prices for clothing and footwear declined further (-8.2% vs -7.5%). Transport costs were unchanged, after falling 0.8% in the previous month. On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.4%, following a 0.2% increase in September.
