The annual inflation rate in Croatia rose to 3.8% in November 2025 from 3.6% in the previous month, confirming preliminary estimates. Upward pressure mainly came from higher inflation in housing and utilities, which increased to 8.8% from 8.4% in October. Inflation also picked up for alcoholic beverages and tobacco (5% vs 4.5%), furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance (0.4% vs 0.1%), recreation and culture (3.7% vs 3.0%), restaurants and hotels (7.3% vs 6.9%), and communication (5.1% vs 4.1%). On the other hand, costs continued to decline for clothing and footwear (-2.5% vs -2.2%) and transport (-0.1% vs -1.1%), while price growth slowed for food and non-alcoholic beverages (4.0% vs 4.4%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.6%, the same pace as in October, matching initial estimates. Meanwhile, the harmonized annual consumer inflation accelerated to 4.3% from 4.0%.
