The Czech unemployment rate rose 4.4% in July 2025, from 4.2% in each of the previous two months and in line with market forecasts. This marked the highest level since February 2025, as the number of unemployed persons increased by 14,036 month-on-month to 329,501 and was up by 46,490 compared to the same month last year. Meanwhile, the number of job vacancies decreased by 3,124 from the previous period to 95,553 and was 166,473 lower than in July last year.
