The Euro Area consumer confidence indicator rose by 0.6 to -14.7 in July 2025, the highest in four months and in line with preliminary estimates. In the broader European Union, sentiment ticked up 0.3 to -14.5. Consumers’ perception of their households’ financial situation, both backward- and forward-looking, and their intentions to make major purchases improved, while their expectations about the general economic situation in their country worsened.
