Géorgie Taux d'inflation

The annual inflation rate in Georgia accelerated to 4% in June 2025, from 3.5% in the previous month. This marked the highest reading since March 2023, as prices increased at a faster pace for food and non-alcoholic beverages (10.1% vs 8.3% in May), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (4.6% vs 3.3%), housing and utilities (1.0% vs 0.6%), health (9.4% vs 9.0%), and miscellaneous goods and services (6.7% vs 5.9%), while it remained unchanged for restaurants and hotels (at 6.0%). Additionally, costs fell at a softer pace for furnishings, household equipment and maintenance (-1.4% vs -2.3%). Meanwhile, prices declined for clothing and footwear (-0.8% vs 0.8%) and deflation continued for transport (-5.3% vs -4.5%), communication (-13% vs -12.8%), and recreation and culture (-0.5% vs -0.4%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices stalled in June, following a 0.4% gain in May.
