Pérou Taux d'inflation

The annual inflation rate in Peru's capital, Lima, rose to 1.69% in May 2025 from 1.65% in April. This marked the highest reading since January, as prices accelerated for food & non-alcoholic beverages (1.35% vs 0.97% in April), recreation & culture (2.92% vs 2.90%), restaurants and hotels (2.79% vs 2.73%), and miscellaneous goods & services (2.66% vs 2.57%). Meanwhile, prices eased for housing and utilities (0.68% vs. 0.62%), transport (0.37% vs. 0.95%), and education (4.12% vs. 4.26%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell by 0.06% in May, reversing from a 0.32% rise in the previous month.
