Serbie Taux d'inflation

The annual inflation rate in Serbia inched down to 4.4% in March 2025 from 4.5% in the previous month, compared to market forecasts of 4.45%. Price growth slowed mainly for transport (1.3% vs 2.3% in February), furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance (5.9% vs 6.3%), communication (1.6% vs 4.5%), recreation and culture (3.9% vs 4.5%), restaurants and hotels (8.7% vs 9%), and miscellaneous goods and services (3.7% vs 4.1%). Meanwhile, costs rose for food and non-alcoholic beverages (4.8% vs 4.3%) and housing and utilities (3.6% vs 3.4%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices edged up 0.1% in March, easing from a 0.5% rise in February and coming in below market expectations of a 0.3% increase.
