Sri Lanka Arrivées Touristiques

The number of foreign tourists arrivals in Sri Lanka climbed by 21.8% year-on-year to 138,241 in June 2025, accelerating from an 18.5% growth in the previous month. This marked the largest increase in tourist arrivals so far this year, with India (27.4%) remaining the top tourist source market, followed by the United Kingdom (8.4%), China (6.4%), Australia (5.3%), Pakistan (4.9%), and Bangladesh (4.2%). Considering the first six months of the year, the number of foreign tourists rose by 15.6% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, reaching 1,168,044. On a monthly basis, foreign tourist arrivals gained by 4%.
