US crude oil inventories decreased by 4.8 million barrels in the week ending December 5th, 2025, following a 2.48 million-barrel draw the previous week and way below expectations for a 1.7 million barrel draw. This marked the third straight weekly decline in inventories and the sharpest draw since early June.
