Vietnam Ventes au détail (annuelles)

Vietnam’s retail sales advanced by 10.2% year-on-year in May 2025, easing from an almost two-year high of 11.1% increase in the previous month. The slowdown was driven by lower sales in tourism (35% vs 46.1% in April), services (14.3% vs 17%), and goods (8% vs 8.8%). Meanwhile, trade continued to grow for accommodation and food services (19.1% vs 18.8%). On a monthly basis, retail trade fell by 0.1% in May, reversing a 0.2% gain in the preceding period. Considering the first five months of the year, retail activity expanded by 9.7%.
