Corée du Sud Import Prices YoY

South Korea's import prices rose 3.4% from a year earlier in March 2025, easing from a downwardly revised 4.3% increase in the previous month. It marked the fifth straight month of rising import costs, largely driven by a weaker Korean won. Prices increased for consumer goods (5.8% vs. 4.5%), intermediate goods (6.1% vs. 5.9%), and capital goods (6.9% vs. 5.2%), while raw material prices declined by 2.5%, reversing a 1.8% gain in the prior month. On a monthly basis, import prices dipped 0.4% in March, following an upwardly revised 1% drop in February.
